Bob’s purpose, his “Why” is straightforward – to help serious CEOs and business owners generate more clients, and rapidly increase their revenue and profits. His experience and skills enable him to provide education and guidance to effectively apply the appropriate strategies in the right sequence to accelerate profitable growth. Bob also has a unique talent for exposing the flaws in a company’s market efforts that are stifling growth and replacing them with creating competition-crushing strategies.

Those who know Bob well would describe him in the following three ways:

1. Business Owner- Entrepreneur

Bob began his journey as an entrepreneur at age ten as a paper boy and won a subscription contest. During his teen years, Bob had a profit-sharing project with his tobacco farming uncle, and a 4-H Club dairy project which provided income from the milk he sold to neighbors.  His efforts paid off with a scholarship to NC State and getting a job at the college dairy farm while pursuing a degree in Ag Business. Prior to graduation, Bob was consulting 35 local dairy farmers to improve their profitability. By age 25, he established a business providing dairy farmers with labor-saving equipment that enabled them to operate more efficiently and further improve profitability.

2. Author, Consultant, and Executive Coach

In 1975, Bob established Effectiveness, Inc implementing Peter Drucker’s timeless principles from his best-selling book, The Effective Executive. Bob is the creator of The Effectiveness Coach® Process and The Value Accelerator Roadmap which includes a revolutionary business assessment that can readily pinpoint major profit impacts within any business. This business growth model is ideal for business owners who have a vision of creating a multi-million-dollar business that fuels their passion to achieve personal, financial, and professional freedom. These areas are often overlooked by the vast majority of business owners and are subsequently costing them hundreds of thousands of dollars every year.

Bob is a highly credentialed Master Certified Coach (MCC), Certified Management Consultant (CMC), and Value Builder Advisor (CVBA).  Additionally, Bob and his team have developed a series of Talent, Team, and Leadership Development programs for business owners and professionals who prefer a do-it-yourself or done-with-you model.  He is also the author of Turning Good People Into Top Talent, a 2007 Amazon Best-seller.

3. Community Contributor

Bob is the former membership chair of The Cary Rotary Club, a Paul Harris Fellow, and more recently, chair of the district membership team. The Cary Chamber of Commerce awarded Bob the 2017 Ambassador of the Year. A little-known fact about Bob is he sings tenor in the 80-voice choir at this church
